　　1.避免中文式英语(Chinglish)

　　如:色、香、味俱全。没有任何化学添加剂及色素。大可放心食用。

　　此译文就是一种Chinglish,宜改为:

　　No additives or artificial coloring. Its fine appearance, enticing aroma and pleasing flavor whet your appetite.

　　2.避免文化误解现象

　　如：采自云南阿尔卑斯山脉清明前精心采制?

　　It grows buntain peak amidst the cloud and mist and is carefully collected and prepared before the Tomb-sweeping Days.

　　此译例将“清明前”译为“清明节之前”，的确是符合原意，但中国条文化里的这种饮茶心理，往往为英语文化中的读者所不知。因此，如此传递这一文化信息，只会令英语读者困惑不解，也就不能激发出他们的消费欲望.可改为:Premium tea prepared with leaves picked from Yunnan alps at the right time around April.

　　3.注意中、英文在语义重复方面的差异

　　语义重复在中文里司空见惯，但在英文里往往就成了妨碍简洁而应予以删除的冗余和累赘.例如:“翠绿、鲜嫩、青脆、可口”若译成“is jade green in color and delicious in taste"，则其中的“jade green”与“in color, delicious”与“in taste"造成语义重复，所以“in color”与“in taste"应予剧去.

　　4.注意英译时要根据篇幅等要求.技术处理中文说明里广告性的夸张

　　例如：(涡阳苔干)有清热降压、通经脉、壮筋骨、去口臭、解热毒酒毒、治疗心脏病、神经官能症、消化不良、贫血等功效.

　　此译文对于中文“有……等功效”这一常用语分别使用“produce certain medical effects to".和“be served as a medical diet for'，来翻泽，应该说措词得当.而并没有轻率地英译为"cure"，并未给人以一种疏菜即叮治疗诸般疾病的不负责任的夸大性误导.然而.有时，限于篇幅.从交际性的翻译目的论出发，此译文可浓缩为:

　　句式的转译

　　如“为厨下品”可拆译为两个更具表达力的英文句子:

　　A delicious dish for your family!

　　A wonderful gift for your friends!

　　中文里大，使用同义或近义词叠加的形式，以加强语气，突出特性，加深印象。但英文的行文应尽量简洁。

　　如:万基洋参含片采用上等优质西洋参，经提取、配以萄萄糖等研制成含服片。
